The DOE has awarded APT a 2-year, Phase ll SBIR contract to continue working on advanced neutron supermirror optics in collaboration with the Spallation Neutron Source (SNS) and the High Flux Isotope Reactor (HFIR) at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL).
APT participated in an important workshop on planning future needs for Neutron and X-ray optics conducted by the Basic Energy Sciences division of the Department of Energy.
